Welcome to the family!
Hello. Welcome to my website. I am going to try and document in these few pages the ongoing effort to discover my children’s heritage. Please be kind when you write your comments and emails (you know you will). I have no doubt that I have made mistakes, but that is why they call it a “work in progress”. With your help, we can hopefully extract the truth out of our ancestral history and bring it all to light.
I encourage you to verify any information from this site against other sources. I have endeavored to only use well-documented evidence. I will be glad to share my sources with you, but they are available only if you email me and request them.
All joking aside, I started this project because I wanted to learn about my family and it’s history. I have discovered that we have a family that we can be proud of, and occasionally a few we can get a good laugh from. I want to dust off the archives and discover, for myself and my children, what these people were really like. I want my kids to realize that these were real people, with hopes, dreams, and stories that may be forgotten and lost if we don’t work to preserve them.
In the next few pages, we will attempt to put flesh back upon their bones, shine light upon their legacies, and to listen for their voices as they echo in the lives of our children.
